I turned 24 on July 1. As I stated in my last post, I usually host a birthday dinner with my friends to celebrate me turning a year older. But this year I wanted to switch things up. Since I've been waiting for my new job to officially start, I've been spending a lot of time in front of the television. One of my favorite things to watch as of late is FX's Atlanta, which comes on Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
The show was created, directed and produced by Donald Glover (a.k.a. Childish Gambino). Glover also stars in the show as Earnest "Earn" Marks, a down-on-his-luck, socially-awkward guy trying to manage his cousin's rap career.
In the show, Earn has an on-again, off-again love interest named Vanessa, who is played by actress Zazie Beetz. Since the show started, I've been loving Vanessa's easy-breezy boho style. It's so effortless, and I'm dying to know where some of her pieces are from!
