Today has been pretty interesting, and it's not even halfway over yet!

I had my interview at Willys earlier this afternoon. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to work both there & at my current job, so I'm just going to stay where I'm at. I'm still waiting to hear back from some other places, though, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

For the interview, I decided on a taupe colored dress and a printed poncho sweater from H&M. Thank God I still had money left on my H&M gift card from Christmas, or else I would've had to leave this baby on the rack. The necklace is my Mom's. Her jewelry game is SO much better than mine, and it just so happened that this one matched perfectly with my outfit.

When I put this together last night, I hadn't planned on wearing tights underneath. I think I was still hype that it was 54 degrees yesterday and I assumed that today was going to be the same. Wrong! There were definitely snowflakes falling when I looked out of the window this morning. Ugh. It's safe to say that I'm officially ready for spring.

Even though things didn't go as planned with the interview, I'm not upset. Things aren't always going to go my way, and that's perfectly and completely okay. I think that this just means that a better opportunity will be coming my way soon! I'm just going to keep putting my resume out there.

So, to all of you like me that are looking for a second job, a new job, or even a first job, keep pushing! You may not get call backs from every place that you apply to, or your interviews might not go as smoothly as you want, but that doesn't mean you should feel down or discouraged. Something will come through for you.

Now, as I sit in my room and stare at this micro-blizzard still wearing my interview clothes and a full face of makeup, all I can think about is popcorn, hot chocolate and the season finale of Project Runway: Junior that'll be coming on tonight, haha.

How do you plan on spending your Thursday?
