Stratford Girls Trip: Day 3

Picture Day!

Our final day in Stratford was a little different than the previous two. We started the day off with a summer-inspired photo shoot! Liz asked all of us to wear bright colors so that the photos would really pop. Everyone looked so cute! I wore a sparkly yellow Eloquii dress that screamed “summertime fine” in my opinion, lol. I paired it with some simple black Target heels and the new bag I got from Wills & Prior the day before.

I love taking pictures, so of course this was an enjoyable experience for me! We probably snapped over 100 individual and group photos. And they came out beautifully! Would you believe me if I told you we did all of these using a camera and self-clicker button?

Next, we brunch.

After we finished taking pictures, we went back to the hotel to change and then went over to the Stratford Chefs School for brunch. The school is a non-profit career college that’s focused on hands-on training of aspiring chefs and culinary entrepreneurs. Tracey Pritchard of Perfect Pastry prepared a yummy brunch for us that included quiche, salad with a homemade dressing, and a lemon dessert. Everything was so light and satisfying!

Mercer Kitchen & Beer Hall

We had a few hours of free time before dinner, so I went to sit by the water with Liz and Anne. It was nice to get a chance to sit down for a few because it seemed like we’d been on the move since we got there. For an early dinner, we went to Mercer Kitchen & Beer Hall, which is a casual dining place featuring seasonal ingredients.

As like all of the other food we tried over the weekend, everything was delicious and I was definitely full by the end of it. After we ate, it was time to hop in the car and make the three hour drive back to Detroit!

10/10 would recommend!

Overall, I really enjoyed my weekend in Stratford! It’s such a cute city, and I would go back in a heartbeat. The food was so fresh and delicious, all of the shop owners we met were so kind and genuinely excited that we were there visiting, our tour guide was truly the BEST, and I love plays and musicals, so seeing “Little Shop of Horrors” was icing on the cake.

I would love to take some of my besties to Stratford for a quick getaway so they can experience what I did. I’m so thankful Liz invited me to come on the trip. It was great getting to spend time with her and Anne, and to get to bond with the rest of the ladies, too!

If you’re thinking of visiting Stratford, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed.
