Free Time

Now that I've graduated, I have quite a bit of free time on my hands. During my four & a half years of school, I dreamt about the moment when I wouldn't be swamped with homework and projects. I imagined that I'd spend my days being fabulous and running "important" errands, and that I'd be in bed before midnight every night. Welp, that's not the case. I mean, I do run errands (some important, some not), but obviously that in-bed-by-midnight thing was a lie, lol. It's definitely 2:18 a.m. and I'm up here typing my life away.

I'm working as a sales associate part-time, but January is a slow month for retail, so my hours have been kinda inconsistent and probably won't pick back up until February, so again...more free time. Instead of being a total couch potato today, I decided to take a trip to the bookstore to look for blogging books and to do some brainstorming. While I wasn't successful in finding a book, it was nice just to get out of the house for a little bit.

In other news, my brother & sister-in-law ordered me a tripod, but it was broken when I opened the box (thanks, Amazon!), so my outfit pictures are going to be a little scarce until I can get a replacement. However, over the years of me taking pictures of my outfits with my phone, I've become pretty creative when it comes to snapping shots using unusual props.

So, bear with me during this time, y'all. I'm doing what I can!

(P.S. - These Michael Kors flats were originally $150, but my mom was able to get them for me for $37! Talk about a bargain!)
